Aladdin Outfit Reprise

Today's Ensemble:
Vintage 80s gaucho pants (eBay)
Pink & black cami tops (market)
Austrian tiroler waistcoat (charity shop)
Vintage shoes (charity shop)
Indian bangles (car boot sale)
Sometimes I find it really hard to get dressed in the morning.
I sit semi comatose in front of the open wardrobe door, staring bleary eyed on the stacks of folded clothing, thinking, “I can't find anything to wear”!
Having too much choice does present major disadvantages at times, especially when one has just emerged from the land of the groggy, sleep zombie & the brain hasn't quite yet managed to snap back in to action.
There is however one thing that is even worse than simply being too fuzzy headed to decide what to wear & that is to find suitable clothing on one of those ghastly 'fat days' when it feels like your hauling around a bucket load of water in your limbs; you try on umpteen different outfits only to be forced to deem them incompatible with the monthly wibble wobble cause they restrict here & dig in there...argh!
On days like that nothing short of a roomy sack is actually comfy on & ideally in my opinion women shouldn't have to work let alone leave the house on such days.
We should just be able to phone the boss & say:
-"Sorry mate, no can do today, I'm having a terrible fat day so I'm staying in close proximity to my bed, the fridge & the television, goodbye!"
Surely that is fair; no woman should have to go to work with annoying knicker-elastic gashing into her flesh.
After all it's just a passing state of bloat!
This morning when I emerged from the pit of repair, feeling much like an automaton & with (as always) little time to spare, I sat aimlessly staring in to my wardrobe with my hazy vision & dulled aptitude for thinking.
I sat there for ages, my husband even brought me a cup of tea, then suddenly out of the blue I decided to just pull out three random things, towards the bottom of one pile.
Call it wardrobe lucky dip- or the get dressed in the dark method perhaps.
Luckily for me the three garments I released were well matched & in this manner I also quite unintentionally reprised an outfit that I wore sometime last year, now how is that for chance?

One of my work colleagues reckoned my outfit today was Aladdin-esque :)
xXx
